...started out writing under the pen name Priscilla Shay in 2008 on FictionPress before venturing out and learning more about the publishing industry. Since then, she has published a Regency-set historical romance short story with Boroughs Publishing Group, drafted 5 novels, and shoved them all under her bed. She is a former member of the national chapter of Romance Writers of America as well as the New York City chapter. She has been dabbling in Historical romance (Medieval, Regency, and Victorian), Contemporary romance and Paranormal romance, and Young Adult fiction.
...Under her legal name, she is a professionally certified teacher for the NYC Department of Education. She has taught 6th-8th grade English, Writing, Social Studies, and Humanities in both the charter and public school systems. She has presented at NCTE about "Advocating for our Middle Grades Students: Exploring Identity and Transformation through Diverse Adolescent Literature and Media Studies" and constantly strives to incorporate diverse literature and media in her classroom.
She holds a B.A. in English: Creative Writing, M.A. in History, M.S.T in 7-12 General Education ELA, and a TEFL certificate with specializations in Teaching English to Young Readers and Teaching English to Korean Speakers.
...Absolutely adores K-Pop although, she DOES have a preference for any and everything BTS, In 2014, a co-worker introduced her to the variety show Running Man. This led to her learning about the culture and history of Korea to better understand the jokes made in variety shows and k-dramas. Then, when she got impatient waiting on English subtitles (translators are loves T_T), she ventured into learning the language. By 2015, she found BTS and it's been a deep, dark spiral ever since.
